Since the appointment of former RUC/MI7 Drew Harris as Garda Commissioner, he has become the most divisive, in my opinion, figure within the An Garda Siochana. Harris should be here to embrace and to Boost Morale within the Force. In the last two and half years, dozens of Gardai have taken early retirement and left because of the bullying in relation to Mickey Mouse Issues which Harris accuses them of engaging in. Fanning, former AC Commissioner took on Harris and our Sources Believe he Won — needless to say this was kept in omerta by Charlie Flanagan and Others. Now we have Limerick and we have 150 Garda under suspicion literally accused of “Doing Nothing”. Yes we have Rogue Gardai. Yes We have Corruption. But Harris is taking his house-keeping to a different level. He is pushing Officers out of a job because he sees them as a Threat to him. As the article says below, hundreds if not thousands of Gardai are literally Afraid to use their Texts or to even eat out in a restaurant in case some spy/stasi gets the Wrong Message back to Garda HQ. People need to understand what Charlie Flanagan did here. He brought down an RUC Officer with Baggage as high as Craogh Patrick and also a man who Blocked the Inquiry into the Miami Showband Massacre and that of the Glenane Gang. If ever this country needed a Content and Working An Garda Siochana, in the present climate and especially during this Cyber Warfare attack on the HSE – It is now. What do we have? We have a Divided Force with no voice, and where Harcourt Square pumped up Morons are travelling from Dublin trying to stitch up their colleagues in Limerick. One needs now to ask Helen McEntee what is going on here and the same goes for Micheal Martin and the FF party. Last night on BBC the Stephen Nolan show … people were crying out for the Resignation of PSNI Chief Simon Byrne – well the same is happening in our Republic. People are crying out for the resignation of his old Comrade Drew Harris.
