This is not an unreasonable request especially as the French Courts ignored the findings of the Irish DPP and proceeded to try Ian Bailey in absentia; they found him guilty and have applied but failed to gain extradition warrants of Mr Bailey to France to serve the 25 year sentence imposed by the French judiciary (Code Napoleon).
