Omicron: Elderly, immunocompromised, in Europe the vaccines had arrived and countries like Ireland quickly administered Boosters, vaccinating near 90% of our population. Luckily Vaccine Hesitant’s and anti-vaxxers had little sway, the Health Service rolled out the vaccines, they were effective and did their job (for how long a ?). Russia, Ukraine: Their vaccines are reported not to be as efficient as Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Astra Zeneca and they have serious problems with vaccine hesitancy.
