Russia / Ukraine and rise up US, UK, Nato, France, Germany and so many more countries but what about the failure in Afghanistan, first the Russians moved out over 20+ years ago and the US moved in and they pulled out August 2021 with the Taliban taking over. The US only yesterday agreed to release $3.5 billion of Afghanistan’s own money but held in foreign hands. The people are starving, little babies have frozen to death in night air. We cannot morally enter into more wars. US and Russia re Afghanistan have “blood on their hands”. No doubt what they sought were the mineral resources like lithium and then the cheap labour. Both Russia and America failed in Afghanistan but at what price to the people. The UK must also admit to blood on their hands too. Thankfully the Afghanistan Taliban have women in exile who shun their extremism and who have their voice and courage. “Noorzai became a local celebrity in Helmand, ridiculed and respected at the same time. Her father was soon asked if his daughter might be suited for representing Helmand as a member of parliament in Kabul.”. Noozrai is now in Greece hoping to go to Canada.

COVID-19: two years with lows but more importantly achievements, the discovery of vaccines, the PCR tests followed by the Antigen tests. Economics was hit head on by Health and lockdowns. The Covid tests, especially after people had been vaccinated, allowed our economies at a local level and internationally to open up again to trade. Now do we need to pay for these Covid tests?
