Stand with Ukraine: Russia/Ukraine feeds Europe with oil and gas. We are so dependent on it but we can hinder Russia. We can cut down on our oil and gas use by alternatives. We now need to look to renewables. Thankfully Ireland gets one third of its gas from the Corrib and part supply from the UK. It is Europe that must now decide to throttle Russia and reduce their imports of oil and gas. Twitter: Mike Hudema

Reminder: Russia can only afford to fight this war because of oil and gas. It's biggest weapon against Europe is cutting off supplies of oil and gas.

Might be time to go renewable.
