The Fine Gael party must ask themselves is Leo Varadkar, Taoiseach, for all the people on this Island of Ireland or just the minority LGBT. There are another 4.4 million people also, they are included now, why all the Marching Leo?

Fianna Fail leader Micheal Martin moved quickly to state the party’s Brexit stance after Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was slammed by one of his senior TDs and accused of not engaging “in basic diplomacy”.
Communications spokesman Timmy Dooley insisted today in a tweet that a UK “standoff” was because of a “direct result of Taoiseach Varadkar’s failure to engage in basic diplomacy over the past 2 years”.
Mr Dooley also stressed in the tweet that he later deleted: “The Government’s lack of experience and arrogance will hurt Ireland in the coming months.”

The Taoiseach had not spoken to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson prior to the social media message being posted this morning by the Clare TD.
A number of hours later in the afternoon, Mr Martin tweeted: “To be absolutely clear; the refusal by PM Boris Johnson to engage with European leaders and our Taoiseach without pre conditions on the issue of Brexit is unacceptable and is not within the realms of normal diplomatic or political behaviour.”
It is believed the Fianna Fail leader and Mr Dooley spoke by telephone today after their respective tweets.
Some senior Fianna Fail politicians were said to be angered by Mr Dooley’s comments, while the Fine Gael, Labour and Sinn Fein parties also criticised the move.

He added: “Leo Varadkar doesn’t realise unfortunately he is the Taoiseach for the whole country. I mean I have told him this on the record.
“He thinks he is the Taoiseach for Dublin, he forgets the rest of the country.
“If you think about statements that Leo Varadkar has come out with. I will give you an example – he was asked what he was going to do to reduce his carbon footprint and he said reduce the amount of meat he takes in.

Fred says: The Gays and Lesbians now have Equality and I wish them well but as some Gay people tell me, corporate companies and banks have taken over Gay Pride and certain LBGT people are not happy about this. Some went further and said why are we marching now? Surely we are shooting ourselves in the foot and detaching ourselves even more from society rather than having an inclusive one. Back to Leo Varadkar, Taoiseach, he is unfit for purpose as a politician, he is a spin doctor and finally his bluff has caught up with him. Read the article written by Eoghan Harris in todays Sunday Indo; it is even too late for humble pie now. I am sure as a private person, Leo is a nice guy, one of the lads, but this is politics and this is Ireland and this is the dawn of BREXIT. You are dealing with the Brits Leo. They went through two world wars; they are a most resilient Nation and Johnson is not one for Prada handbags and Kylie Minogues. Boris certainly has his faults and his dark side but don’t forget he didn’t get into No 10 by being stupid (it is essential you take account of Dominic Cummings, his strategist).
Leo must learn to respect all people and today I can’t believe that FF have not plugged him out. You don’t stand in the Dail and belittle an opposition leader Micheal Martin by using the words “You remind me of the dirty old priest who preaches on thing; then after mass, goes into the Sacristy and does his old dirty sins”. This to anyone was deeply offensive; to Martin, FF and personally his family. Could you imagine if Martin replied with something similar. Anyway we won’t go into that now.
I will conclude by saying Leo needs to grow up and get a grounding on Irish politics and the history of the border. At present Leo is completely obsessed with his Sexual Identity and does not appear to have an interest in our Economy, if he had he would have a shorter summer break this year for the Dail and they would be getting prepared a worst scenario Brexit No Deal. Varadkar for the past 9 months has kept pitching for a Backstop. I don’t know whether it is through immaturity or pure vanity but the bluff is called now and Coveney has not where to hide either nor has Bruton who is an Economist but has more connections with acting the part of a first class clown. FF need to get the courage and back-up Timmy Dooley, not put him down, like an errant school boy. It is time to plug Leo out; go to the people and see what kind of a playing pitch there will be to form a party to tackle the winds of change which are coming. Fred
