The Muppets Madigan and Flanagan (Fine Gael) are keeping a very low profile after the Black and Tans Circus. Homelessness is their Greatest legacy of complete Failure. A child eating his dinner, from cardboard on a Dublin Street, shocked millions across the world.

Ireland and their Commemoration team of cross party representatives should have done a little research.  The Famine was a major catastrophe caused  to a large part by the greed of our colonial masters.  When President Mary Robinson visited the UK to meet the Queen and Prime Minister John Major, among others, it was decided to “let sleeping dogs lie”.  To mention the Famine, would quite rightly mean, that the Irish people would justify their fight in the North of Ireland against the Unionists and would also seek reparations from the British for the abuse and terror wreaked by 700 years of Colonial Rule.  Wisdom and experience is summed up in these words which Mr Flanagan’s team should have considered.  We must never forget the absentee landlords who left Ireland for London and lived like Kings and Queens but now in 2020 we still have landlords in Ireland, and increasing rents beyond what is acceptable.  What has changed?  It is summed up in Black47 film.  It is appropriate to add that we have moved ahead to Vulture funds ie private equity companies who are the new landlords and have yet to show us how they will treat their “tenants”.

“Is it sensible to be doing this at any time, and especially during President Robinson’s visit to which it would introduce controversy? The Unionists are unlikely to sympathise; and Nationalist appetites seem more likely to be whetted than allayed. The prime minister would rather therefore that the proposal were not for the moment pursued. He would certainly not plan to attend himself.”

Hope at last, after three years, there is a return to Stormont:-

Beyonce, Boris Johnson, Putin, Nigel Farage, Russell Brand and Andy Murray all get the Spitting Image treatment from Newzoids

Stormont is up and running, Boris and Michelle O’Neill look very cosy? Cummings strategists who is looking for ‘weirdos’ to replace the bureaucrats at No 10; and the other three look a bit like the weirdos that Cummings is looking for.

Team who have a sense of duty that the Black and Tans; RIC and Dublin Metropolitan Police need to be recognised for their contribution to the history of Ireland.  Brave and Bold Irish men. women and children achieved Independence 100 years ago.  People Power said “No” then to colonial occupation and they say No now to the Flanagan/Madigan duo of let’s represent the Black and Tans, RIC, and Dublin Metropolitan Police.  The RIC stood by in Galway and towns across Ireland, while the Black and Tans slaughtered innocent Irish people.  Read Ger Colleran’s article in the Sunday Mail.  One RIC officer became a Catholic bishop?

Homelessness: this is a shocking indictment.  Too many people are hungry and are suppressed by poverty to begging and seeking out food kitchens and packages to sustain their day.  Here above is the Elite Fine Gael Failures, below is their Legacy.  Shame on the Blue Shirts. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7583059/Homeless-charity-shares-shocking-image-five-year-old-boy-eating-dinner-cardboard-Dublin.html

The Homeless Street Cafe shared this image on its Facebook
page that shows the young boy eating pasta off a cardboard box
on a main street in the Irish capital

FF now will have a fight on their hands and knees to get the majority in the forthcoming Election and Sinn Fein, who still have serious internal problems, (Bullying is the main one) and the people of Ireland need to recognise and vote for Visionary Leadership before Brexit comes like a bolt of ligtening with unknown consequences.  I hope our Economy is not based on Bluff and Leprechaun Economic forecast figures?

  3. oconnellpadd13 on Former Detective Supt Colm Fox, in Garda circles across the country, was known as a decent, hardworking Det Supt. He was the Officer responsible for the Bloodied Feud between the Kinahans and Hutch family in the inner City. Sadly the Regency trial collapsed with many questions unanswered because of the tragic death of Colm Fox at Ballymun Garda station by his own official handgun. We now know that he left notes, before he died and one is particularly prevalent; it is alleged that Colm Fox said “my workload is enormous and the pressure is awesome”. Ballymun is in the media again today when a whistleblower who claims that “Rogue Gardai” clock in for Duty and then go away for hours without being monitored or even questioned by Superiors. If this is factual, we have a Garda Force so far out of control that they make the Taliban look like a bunch of choir boys. Like the death of Garda Golden, could the suicide of Colm Fox have been avoided? I believe the answer to be yes but seeing that there is a High Court case pending by his family, who are suing the State, the Commissioner, the Minister for Justice and the Attorney General, I cannot say much for legal reasons. What I can say: there was the Sligo female Garda Jimell Henry, Garda who spent 15 years in Ballymun and literally used the Pulse System to run with her Sligo boyfriend his Drug Empire covering Sligo and beyond by using the Pulse for months and again, she too was not monitored. Who can estimate the damage done by this former Bean Garda? Det Supt. Fox must have felt deeply betrayed by this convicted Garda Rogue. Now we know that the Monk’s nephew walked out of Court when the case collapsed in relation to the Regency hotel and now we can ask serious questions as to how many Rogue Cops were working around the late Colm Fox and probably putting undue pressure on a decent innocent hard-working Garda. These Rogue Cops are not in a minority and there are many in various Stations across every town and city in Ireland. They need to be rooted out and brought before the courts. Of late, I know a couple who have been targeted by Rogue elements in a South Dublin station and this will stop shortly when a written file will be on the desk at Garda HQ. The implications of a suicide in the workplace means that An Garda Siochana would have needed to put in place psychological supports for the colleagues of Colm Fox including all staff.
