Putin tells the West that Ukraine will not join NATO. For some reason I don’t hear President Joe Biden, the most powerful man in the world, (maybe he is having a Christmas siesta!) Nord Stream 2…we urgently need that oil and gas, as promised, from Russia. Gambling and detente is dangerous especially in winter in Europe. Oil went up 800% in one day and settled back at 400% in one day; Europe, UK, we can’t handle this, we are too dependent on fossil fuels from neighbours and we all know “wind” ie renewables is lower than expected this year!
