Woman rushed to hospital after shocking St Stephen's Green attack

A woman was rushed to hospital after a shocking attack in St Stephen's Green yesterday afternoon.

The assault happened at around 4:15pm and the woman, aged in her 50's, was taken to St James' Hospital for treatment.

A garda spokesman said officers are investigating the attack but no arrests have been made.

They told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred in Stephens Green at approximately 4:15pm yesterday afternoon.

"A female in her 50s was taken to St James Hospital to be treated for her injuries. No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing."
